Saddest of mornings hearing my great mate, the legend Joey Jones passed away. Shared so many wonderful times and laughs together. He was the most selfless of people, truly heartbroken today. Love and thoughts are with Janice and Frank. RIP

Sad to learn of the passing of #joeyjones who has left us too soon aged 70. I cheered him as an @lfc fan and got to know him well when he worked @Wrexham_AFC You can be disappointed when you meet your heroes but with Joey it was the opposite. A lovely guy
