Hyperliquid’s rise continues 📈. After four months of consecutive market share growth, it now accounts for ~12.5% of application revenue . For perspective, 1 out of every 8 dollars spent across apps on all chains is spent on @HyperliquidX's app.

6/ There are two paths to help remediate these issues. 1) The reunification path:.- ZK proofs make canonical bridges orders of magnitude quicker.- Native rollups remove security councils by verifying in Ethereum’s engine.- Based sequencing restores censorship resistance with.

5/ This begs the question of whether a new framework is needed to expand on the stellar work done by @l2beat. @gelatonetwork has created the Ethereum Settlement Score (ESS). ESS measures factors like canonical bridge usage, asset composition, and censorship resistance to

4/ Assets are cheaper, easier, and have more incentives to issue directly on the L2 vs the L1. Roughly 2/3rds of asset value has been issued directly on @base and @arbitrum. So, while Ethereum provides settlement guarantees, many L2 assets are not natively enforced by Ethereum.

3/ Those that do use the canonical bridge tend to be large entities like exchanges. - On Base, 99% of distinct addresses use external bridges.- On Arbitrum, it's even higher at 99.7% of distinct addresses

2/ Market incentives drove the divergence. Users pay for instant bridges over 7-day exits. While this figure can vary:.- On Base, 69% of volume passes through external bridges.- On Arbitrum, 90% of volume passes through external bridges

1/ Ethereum’s rollup vision ≠ today’s reality. External bridges handle most flows, ~2/3 of value sits outside ETH’s guarantees, and security councils can still flip the switch. Why is this happening, and what can be done to fix it?

My concern remains about the "Unity of Money.". Who will abstract all these stablecoins from the end user? What’s the business model or incentive to do so?.

5/ But it doesn't stop there. Beyond preconfirmations, the next frontier is booster rollups, L2s that mirror Ethereum's state. - Deploy once on L1, automatically available on every booster rollup.- Horizontal scalability without fragmenting liquidity.- Enables Parallel

2/ Preconfirmations bring about:. - Faster UX for DeFi, gaming, trading.- Cheaper fees (less wasted blob space).- And unlocks cross-layer composability (L1+L2 in the same block). All while staying Ethereum-aligned.

ETH ETFs experienced two consecutive days of outflows for the first time since May 2025, including the largest daily net outflow ever. Positive inflow trends have resumed, and I hope this continues. $4K+ ETH benefits everyone.
