The .gov domain provides increased security measures and gives residents an added level of confidence when navigating our website. When registering the new domain, we were required to include a state identifier to differentiate from other the 13 other "Mapletons" around the U.S.

Pursuant to Utah State Code 63D-2-105, which requires every governmental entity in the state to implement a .gov domain before July 1, 2025, Mapleton City's website and email system has moved from the web domain to the domain.
