With all the Framework Laptop 12 news this week, we haven’t forgotten Framework Desktop! We are closing in on the start of manufacturing. We’re also making great progress with our partners. @Noctua_at designed an alternate side panel, and it turns out it’s 3D printable!

the "American citizens" in question who built the space program & much of the infrastructure for military technology in the US were nazis & the project of the "importing of a foreign class" that built it was called Operation Paperclip.

Vance is so good: "The American Space Program, the first program to put a human being on the moon, was built by American citizens. This idea that American citizens don't have the talent to do great things, that you have to import a foreign class of servants, I just reject that."

It’s human to experience fear, self-doubt, and confusion. But when anxiety keeps you from seeing things clearly, take charge and tune in to what matters.

It’s normal to occasionally experience anxiety — when we’re faced with a high-stakes meeting, a stressed-out boss, or a conflict with a colleague. When we’re anxious, we tend to trap ourselves in...

Note that neither one even uses the term "racism" here, though it's the obviously the most specific way to describe the posts.

Elon frames his remarks as "inappropriate," & Vance as "stupid" & "disagreeable." When this part of the right disavows explicit racism in its ranks, they refuse to describe it in moral terms. But ask them to describe some inane DEI policy, & they'll deploy strong moral language.

Here’s my view: I obviously disagree with some of Elez’s posts, but I don’t think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid’s life. We shouldn’t reward journalists who try to destroy people. Ever. So I say bring him back. If he’s a bad dude or a terrible member of

@KevinNaughtonJr Correct. I've seen way too many "senior" and "staff" engineers be far worse than new grads. Generally titles are meaningless and are usually only influenced by who you know and who in your management chain likes you.
