i am learning new skills on my new job, it is humbling and makes me feel inadequate, but that’s part of the process. leaders, in response, should not make you feel stupid.

my Uber driver just inhaled vape in the middle of the trip. if i pulled my cigarette i know for sure it would be a problem!.

may i be guided by grace. may i steadfast in what i believe. and may i remember why i started.

i generally think his understanding of “unfit” bodies is limited and not complex enough, because why would you not drink water? fat people drink water, imagine if he develops some illness because he assumed that’s how you get fat. lol.

my Mauritian friend is bringing his mother to visit South Africa. it is interesting that he phrased is as taking/bringing his mother to “mainland” at least once. the idea that there are island based people who have never left is fascinating to me.
