Air india has reduced its frequency in BOM-MAA sector from 7x to 6x starting this winter schedule . @AviationAll_ @UpdatesChennai @ChennaiFlights

This situation is worse for tier 2 to tier 2 passengers where they are forced to travel for a higher price or to take another means of transport after taking a flight via a third city. Aviation ministry should ensure this doesn't happen

It's horrible to see that in current times even to go to a tier 2 city from a tier 1, there is a need for layover in either DEL, BOM, BLR and HYD. Minstry should ensure proper connectivity for cities.

I can see IX slowly reducing its presence in Chennai. They had peaked around this summer and reduced many intl freq and domestic destinations like surat, jaipur, varanasi
