Satine’s sharpest outfit is really only worn when she is defending her people, that sharpness in cubism and deco directly reflects the warrior ideals of the culture

they moved away from the harshness of cubism into an art deco/art nouveau style this kept elements of cubism but overall the silhouettes became rounded and softer, florals were a must, and interior design reflected more deco than cubist minimalism

obviously this carried over a bit into Satine’s reign as Duchess but to match her pacifist beliefs the art and fashion all began to change into something less harsh

pre-Satine, Mandalore took on a cubist style from the armor to the architecture to the murals and reliefs depicting ancient battles
