And now time to log off for the day instead of having to see everyone crying that we’re the worst run club in the world and won’t even finish top 4 next season 😴.
#ManCity are suggesting incomings are now complete for the summer, saying that there are no plans to bid for Newcastle's Tino Livramento and no ongoing talks around a right back. [via @Jack_Gaughan].

Pointless statistic. Ferguson was in an era where he could get players like Berbatov & RVP for less than £30m each, in recent years you can pay double that and get Naby Keita.
When Man City confirm the signing of James Trafford, Pep Guardiola will officially become the first football manager in history to spend over €2bn 🤯💰

A bit of a loss to Liverpool. He’s a quality player. They’ve made some great additions and no doubt Isak will mean they’ve won the transfer window if they get him. But they’ve also lost some quality with Trent, Diaz and sadly Jota too.
🚨 Bayern Munich reach total agreement with Liverpool to sign Luis Diaz. Deal for 28yo winger €75m + permission granted to travel for medical. Proposed 4+1yr contract at #FCBayern. Now ~£190m sales since Hughes became #LFC sporting director @TheAthleticFC

His name has been dragged through the mud, his whole reputation shattered, his imminent move to City in 2023 collapsed. All to be proven innocent?. Something has to be done in this country’s justice system, especially when it comes to people so firmly in the public eye.
EXCLUSIVE: Lucas Paqueta set to be cleared of FA spot-fixing charges. Story by @Lawton_Times and myself.

In tears when they saw a glimpse of the trophy cabinet in the corner of their eye.
Viktor Gyökeres and his family in tears today when Berta congratulated them on the deal being complete. The player has already held tactical discussions with Arteta about his role. Medical tomorrow. See you at the announcement.

Wow. Didn’t see Ederson staying. So Trafford & Ederson vying for the number 1 spot next season then.
🚨 Manchester City to sign James Trafford from Burnley. Sold at £14m & purchasing for £27m so buy-back cost ~£13m. Activated matching rights on #NUFC offer & 22yo picked #MCFC - 5+1yr contract. Ederson staying, Ortega to go but nothing close @TheAthleticFC

I don’t believe this. Ederson clearly wants to leave, as he did last summer to Saudi, and Pep is always so insistent that he only wants players who want to be here. Think City would happily get a small fee, get his wages off our books and start developing Trafford.
#ManCity want to keep Ederson rather than selling the goalkeeper to Galatasaray this summer, despite the 31-year-old entering his final year of contract. If Ederson leaves, then @ManCity could turn to James Trafford. [via @RichJolly].

Disappointing as he would have solved the position for 10 years and is HG. However, unfortunately it was always quite obvious this would be the case.
BREAKING: #ManCity are not planning a bid for Newcastle’s Tino Livramento despite briefly looking at the 22-year-old as a potential solution at right-back. @ManCity are set to look elsewhere as they eye a successor to Kyle Walker. [via @TyMarshall_MEN].

RT @mancity_talk: He’s got personality hasn’t he, similar to Hart. And he can save penalties. Enough said.
