a lot of kpop stans are just very incurious about kpop as a genre of music and like to stick to what they know instead of diversifying their tastes,, so they make terrible and irrelevant recommendations as a result because that’s all they know.

i don’t think this was really jaden’s influence, it would’ve been a decision made by onepiece who were actually the team producing and composing lovelyz’s music at that point. as far as i know, he was working as an a&r representative for woollim artists instead of being a cd.
Think abt Gowon and Shion. Jaden is so obsessed with this type of voice.

there are so many great synth lines in this,, particularly a fan of the twinkly parts in the bridge and the verses. the bass line is also too good. love it when a kpop song is so well produced that you can keep finding new things to love about it years after first hearing it
