Why is Sept 20th #NFTDay? Sept 20, 2017 was the first time the term “non-fungible token” was introduced. It was coined by @dapperlabs CTO Dete Shirley, in his first draft of the ERC-721 proposal.
When I decided to introduce the term "NFT" in ERC-721 because "it would be more approachable" than the technical term "non-fungible token", I could have NEVER guessed how approachable it would eventually become... 😅 https://t.co/OTWORi7yfC
