But if not, take your time with your edits in a way in which you can tell the story of the event through your images. Be strategic with your story if that’s what you want to do.

Photographers. Don’t rush your edits when you don’t have to. It’s different if you are commissioned and promised your clients a turn around time. Or if you want to hold yourself to a specific deadline I get it.

Let’s just say I’m on West Coast time, that “PDT-K” time, reminiscing about how I use to look up to “B&K”. Now I’m dominating my craft wondering if I should take some “BIG SHOTS” at the industry in which I play.

I’m always going to support the creator. It’s not rocket science. You wanna use the image, agree to terms with the creator and keep it moving. Stealing the image and pretending like it’s your work…🤨🤨🙅🏿‍♂️🙅🏿‍♂️🙅🏿‍♂️.

Literally seen a post where a company stole the image of my work and my friends work in the SAME POST!!!! 🤨🤨🤨.

Now some of these outlets are extremely wholesome. Some I’ve worked with. Some have reached out and asked for permission and credited me and my peers properly. It’s a great relationship. You others, however…ya’ll are insane.

I’ve been patient and nice but I’m about to start exposing yall on this here internet. JUST GIVE THE CREATORS THEIR FAIR SHARE.

Really will never understand why some of these bigger companies would rather screen shot photographers images, and use them as if they’re their own instead of just asking for permission, or crediting the creator from the beginning. Or compensating us appropriately.
