Why is this horror-story not receiving more outcry? He is the worst of the worst. A serial killer that was stopped as he was about to commit another murder, by a brave retired OPP officer. He cannot walk the streets!

I consider John to be a friend and mentor. He has given his whole life to public service in one capacity or another and for that I am appreciative. I hope he is at peace with this decision knowing so many are grateful for his contributions.
It was the honour of a lifetime to have served as mayor of this city, the city I love and will always hold dearly in my heart. You’ve given me a lot to think about and I want to assure you I have given it serious consideration. But I will not be running in the 2026 election.
