No sane person will say he wants to forget 30,000 sq km2 of land which is the historical base of the mighty Oyo empire. The people trying to take Yorubaland of kwara state out of Yorubaland are a tiny minority who have mastered you use of poverty, chaos and religion to keep
@letsbuildnew9ja Maybe Yorubas should forget Kwara

Arewa coup. After 8 years of unflinching loyalty and support to PMB and Arewa, this is how Arewa chooses to repay Yorubas just 2 years into a Yoruba presidency. .

The Role of National Narratives The stability of any nation-state depends less on its administrative apparatus (like borders and laws) and more on the "idea of the nation" which functions as a shared framework or superstructure. This framework is composed of "national

I'm also worried about your bigoted bias, unconscious or otherwise Normalised bigotry from igbos of all standards and works of life doesn't worry you, it is a the "possibility of unconscious offensiveness" that will bring down society
My concern with the lady’s video was about the possibility of ingrained and unconscious offensiveness, which, if widespread, would be problematic for our society. I do not, cannot and will not respond to every act of direct lunacy here, and there is a lot of it. I make no

Who is that woman? Can we identify her and demand apology?
LAST YEAR Abia State Governor “Alex Otti” was seated when some people referred to as "Yorubas living in Abia State" were called to address the public. As soon as the so-called "Yorubas in Abia" left the stage, the Igbos began calling them "NGBATI NGBATI" people. NO OUTRAGE!!

Ah, low lives have found this comment and are crashing out as if it's not true. It's only people who don't understand igbo politics that fall for their tricks
This is why people who understand igbos don't waste time apologising, they don't apologise either, did Uzoart apologise? You just wasted your time, once igbos don't like you nothing you can do, if you like cut your leg

Lol Igbos cancelling anybody ends up positive for the person. Why do they even bother?
Aunty Toyin was cancelled yet she went on to release 3 blockbuster movies. GTBank also faced a cancel wave, but its YTD share price rose 67%, market cap surged to ~ ₦3.46 trillion, and customer‑deposit growth YTD jumped 18%. So cancelling Bokku by those lots is a blessing ✌🏾

Now with "ọ̀gbọ̀rọ̀" there is clarity and you only find this clarity in Igala language. Compare "ọ̀gbọ̀rọ̀" to the Igala words "ọ̀gbọ̀" and "ọ̀rọ̀", and how igbo doesn't relate 3/3

"Ọ̀gbọ̀nọ̀" is also called "Ọ̀gbọ̀rọ̀" The /n/ and /r/ sound shift is a typical pattern among Benue-Kwa languages So if you don't know "ọ̀gbọ̀rọ̀", you wouldn't know where to look, cus the other variant doesn't down to anything in any language https://t.co/4C3RdA65Uy
Ok so though this guy here is usually trolling. The main gist is not inaccurate. "Ọgbọnọ" is derived from "Ọgbọrọ", an Igala word meaning "tasteless draw soup" The main etymon there being "ọrọ" meaning draw soup It is a Yoruba/Igala soup

It's less about source but about knowing how and where to look. There is very little published research on Igala culture and language that's why we don't talk enough about Igala influence in igboland. But here's the evidence 1/3
@mackee_F Source of this please?

When people say Africa isn't suffering from Colonialism, just bad leadership and corruption, I just laugh Yes Africans should properly decolonise, it's our job to do so and we have failed to do so But this just goes to show how powerfully mental European Colonialism was
One thing about colonialism is that it conditions you to love your oppressors more than yourself. You don’t seek revenge , instead, you strive to impress them and earn their validation. We built rules based on morality and decency, yet we made exceptions just for them. 😂

Apon soup is a Yoruba dish that we introduced to ibos people who migrated to Yoruba land in the 1930s,Since then they have renamed it and now calling it Ogbono, Thanks to the government for bringing back history, Apon-ogbono na Yoruba soup
