As wildfires continue across Canada, learning about the side effects of wildfire smoke and how to protect ourselves becomes important, especially for our young ones. https://t.co/jq7f3fZPLC

Today is World Mental Health Day. Pediatric patients are suffering more than ever from mental health. The @CanPaedSociety has a great quick letter you can easily send to your local MP to advocate for equitable increased mental health supports.

@mac_peds annual staff vs. resident soccer game. Takeaways: If you’re going to pull a hammy (@FelipeFa94), do it in front of 5 Emerg docs. @AlimPardhan @JhanAtMac @elliemacbain @SurekaPav @JeffPernica

Our @candacenayman loved helping people and hated olives. I wish I could tell her how much “olive her”. She also loved a good pun.

It was a privilege to work with Candace on the PARO board of directors and see her passion for improving working conditions for residents, along with her dedication to caring for kids and improving this wild world. This is a terrible loss to so many.

Deeply grieving the loss of Candace, someone who shaped my path to choose pediatrics and to train at McMaster. I will think of her in moments with patients, camping trips and in the outdoors around Hamilton which she loved. She will be remembered often 💗
