also Phin has very obvious tells when he is actually lying, he looks away from Isa when he does and the most obvious thing is the scratching his ear thing+.

(also I'd like to point out that when Isa comes into the backyard after they are done building the nest, she says "Hey guys" and Phin instantly goes "Nothing! we are doing nothing!" because he's so used to her asking 'whatcha doin?')+.

now with ISABELLA, he freaks out immediately, he ACTUALLY lies (or attempts to) even if she didn't ask anything related to the topic, she doesn't suspect a thing unlike Candace, but Phineas still freaks+.

the thing with Phin is that he actually NEVER lies, he walks around the subject and takes advantage of the question not being direct to fake obliviousness, when he does this he is very calm as seen in both the lake nose monster and the beak when he talks to Candace+.

"you had to take her to the vampire movie, didn't you?" .something i love about canderemy is that they know each other so well😭 Jeremy it's not even questioning what Candace is doing, he just KNOWS she freaked after the movie😭.
