👆 Interacting with the data cube is as intuitive as on https://t.co/oQwoWhhYHG: You can use touch gestures, your mouse or even sliders to interact with the 3D data selection that is visualized in your data cube.

🎁 Any 3D gridded data set that is either an Xarray or Numpy object can be loaded. You can even load data that is not even spatiotemporal, as long as it has any 3 dimensions, e.g., 2D spatial data with pressure level as the 3rd dimension, like this: https://t.co/VTLmTmvcpG

Another important part of Lexcube and its fast, interactive performance is the employed compression algorithm, i.e. ZFP by @lindstrometer @Livermore_Comp, and further optimizations - unfortunately not all the details could fit in due to the space constraints of the paper!

🎁 New Data Sets: four sun-induced fluorescence data sets (as part of the ESDC 3) as well as two ERA5 specific humidity data cubes. Explore specific humidity also by its pressure level in the 3D cube (replacing time as the third dimension)!
