5/ We're shifting from code writers to code auditors. Problem: AI is confident but wrong just often enough to slip past your defences. Most developers aren't trained to spot AI mistakes quickly. They're still trying to write perfect code.

4/ On the flipside, I think we'll see MORE technical debt, not less. Why? When coding becomes frictionless, people default to code solutions instead of fixing problems higher up the funnel. Easy to code = more code = more complexity.

3/ Here's the economics:. Technical debt used to be expensive to create AND expensive to fix. Now it's cheap to create and cheap to fix. Basic economics says when something gets cheaper, people use more of it.

2/ When you write 100 lines of code manually, it feels like your baby. You protect it, nurture it, refactor it carefully. AI will delete your masterpiece and rewrite it in seconds without hesitation. That psychological shift is harder for developers than the technical one.

I used to obsess over clean code. Spent hours perfecting Laravel code styles, making everything reusable and built to last. Now with AI coding? I think code is becoming throwaway. Thread on why this shift might create more problems than it solves 🧵.

@snipd_app We consume so much content but often forget or struggle to actually act on insights. Being able to bookmark during podcasts to follow up later is a bit of game changer!.

@snipd_app One downside is that it's mobile only. Wish they had a web interface to access the snips. Yeah I can sync them to notion, it does the job, but it's a bit clunky. Small price to pay though!.

@snipd_app Little tip: Turn off auto-snips. For me it just adds too much noise and you really only want to capture what resonates with you.
