As the metaverse becomes a reality, the pace and personalisation of fashion will explode, given the removal of constraints from the physical world. The broader trends will be set within the digital world, and only the best will cross over to the physical world.

We believe this approach maximises creativity and value creation while dramatically reducing waste (time, money and environmental impact). Brands and content creators are free to produce highly customised collections at a rapid pace with significantly lower friction than before.

Core3D flips the model on its head by creating and engaging in 3D first. Then only produce what resonates with the customer through on-demand manufacturing or exporting as digital wearables.

The future fashion value chain will reflect what’s happening between the physical and digital worlds, collapsing into one user experience. Currently, the fashion value chain is extending to incorporate additional steps to digitize physical products.

What does a future fashion value chain look like? That is one of the topics we are exploring at M0DAL in partnership with Core3D.

Thank you for collaborating with us to design our first lab space. It was a great learning experience for all of us - trying to balance UX and real-world architecture concepts. We knew there was no point in trying to recreate a virtual mall - we have enough of those 🤩.
