Shawn Hatosy’s directorial debut for The Pitt is: confident, kinetic, beautiful. He understands that this show works best when the camera doesn’t stop moving. There’s one scene I haven’t stopped thinking about; the fluidity, the framing. GREAT stuff.

theorizing simply bc i’m itching to know more about abbot’s wife: what if that’s how he lost her? high risk surgery that she didn’t make it out of and maybe he was remembering the last conversation he had with her before she went under. maybe he couldn’t be there and had to call.
