My amazing mother in law is a very talented lady. I’ve had the mums over for a champagne afternoon tea and she’s done this for me out of pastels ( this is with pastels, not a photo)

As I was walking through the fields this morning. A gentleman stopped me and said ‘wow you’re beautiful, just beautiful’ as he said this he never looked me in the eye once. Instead he just gazed at this giant furball 🤣🤣

This morning Hastings was stopping on his walks, curling in to me, giving me kisses & acting like he does when I’m ill (I felt fine) Lunch time comes & I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. Yep covid has finally got me 🦠 . Pretty sure he knew before I did. He’s not left my side ❤️

Tonight Elizabeth again told me her daddy died only this time asked how he died. She’s 3 and a half. All I could say was he was poorly, ‘how was he poorly?’ She said. He had a poorly mind I said. ‘Why?’ I said, I don’t know kid as we never knew. 3years tomorrow you broke us

We took Hasty in to Leeds city centre today. Safe to say he was a huge hit. (With most people, I got a few mucky looks) Loads of people wanted to say hello and he gave lots of kisses

This morning we took Hasty out down the local canal walk. I heard his best mates mum on the other side of the canal. Both dog clocked each other, the crying started and then Axel could wait no longer to play with Hasty 💙🐾

When people ask me what mick would have thought of Hastings, I always say he’d say he’s a fanny with no prey drive. Today he saw a 🐇 in the woods, nudged me and sat beside me watching it whilst it ran off 🤣

Walking down the street, Hasty says hello to a few people. All smiling & friendly. Some guy across the road waits watching us, hasty does not like him. Barking like mad. Still proceeds to stick his hand out saying ‘I thought he was friendly! He is! He just doesn’t like you!

Hastings was asleep in the hall. Came in and laid on me to see the new year in and watch the fireworks then left and went back to his bed 🤣. Starting the new year with you in our arms is the best start 💙🐾

4 years ago today I join West Yorkshire Coroners office. What a 4 years it’s been. I never knew what lay ahead but I am so thankful I was in this job to help support me through the hardest time of my life.

It’s my dog walkers lunch walk 2day. She also walks next doors dog. When she arrived to take next doors this morning there were work men digging outside the house. She then text me to say she had nipped in before Hastings’ walk to give him a hug and make sure he was okay 🤣🥰
