I don't get why all the PP-ites are having a meltdown over this cartoon. PP cheered Trump for Venezuela, and Trump has threatened all of these countries. Which part of this cartoon is untrue?

Supervised consumption sites are a life-saving public health intervention that reduces blood-borne diseases, emergency response, and unnecessary grief from loss of life. They are not "beacons of crime," and a new study from @mcgillu shows it.

I am sitting at the Ontario Legislature to attend committee hearings on the Auditor General's report on the opioid strategy. The Deputy Minister of Health just fully admitted they have no plan for Parkdale despite closing the supervised consumption site. No plan! Just closure.
Our Parkdale supervised consumption site had near unanimous support at community meetings, 300+ residents who signed a petition in support, and the evidence on our side. But @fordnation is closing it regardless, and the results will be absolutely deadly.

Nuclear power is a poor method of reducing carbon emissions: its uranium ore and fuel processes have heavy carbon footprints. Also of the ways to reduce carbon emissions in the energy sphere, nuclear is by far the most expensive. Renewables cost far less.

Letters: Renewables, especially wind and solar, are now less expensive, quicker to install, and much safer: with them one does not have to worry about the specters of Chernobyl and Fukushima
