⏰ A little late, but better late than never! This summer the TRUST group hosted interns through SURF & STARS. 👏 First up: Dillon Gee (SURF), supervised by Shea Garland. He worked on targeted microbubbles for ultrasound-guided cancer vaccine delivery.

Taken together with the results published in Nature Nanotechnology in 2022, this work shows the potential of MUSIC as a therapy or as an adjuvant against different cancer types. 2/2

In this new article, we show that our Microbubble-assisted UltraSound-guided Immunotherapy of Cancer (MUSIC) drug delivery platform improves the efficacy of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors anti-PD-1 and a-CTLA-4 in two murine melanoma models. 1/2
