At the end of the day, if the culture is toxic, no amount of powerful mission statements will clean that up! We deserve to build spaces that feel as safe as they sound. No performance. No pedestal. No pass. Shalom!

Some of the most harmful people I have met in the activist spaces are those who know the right language; care, healing, justice, liberation , but embody none of it. They can write the most convincing stories and proposals, lead the most 'inclusive' spaces, and still be abusive..
