🧵ICYMI, during the legislative session I called out an insurance executive for taking private jet trips across Lake Pontchartrain roughly every 2.2 days. This is wasteful, harmful, and downright rude in the face of Louisiana families struggling under our insurance crisis.

I look forward to continuing the fight for a stronger District 29, Central Louisiana, and Louisiana overall.

-SB34 - Defines that alteration of a property and casualty adjuster's report without written permission is a fraudulent insurance act. -SB61 - Provides for the use of credit information in underwriting or rating of certain personal insurance policies.

-SB50 - Allows the Central Louisiana Regional Port to issue bonds north of $10 million, providing the Board of Commissioners greater flexibility in financing projects.

-SB51, now Act 31, helps the City of Alexandria stay informed of the city utility’s important information. This means their power company is subject to public records laws, just like other city-run utilities in Louisiana.
