Repeat after me: good communication requires repetition. Data: leaders are 9x more likely to be criticized for undercommunicating than overcommunicating. Those who say too little come across as unclear and uncaring. When you're tired of your message, it's just starting to land.

Airbnb told employees that they would have the option to permanently work remotely, joining a number of companies that have ditched return-to-office plans. U.S. employees can also move to anywhere in the country without a reduction to their compensation.

One of the great error messages. At this point in time, I have to think itโ€™s still here as an LOL for Twitterโ€™s designers. #ux

I think itโ€™s ironic UX designers use UX instead of UE simply because UX looks cooler.

I see a growing disconnect in our industry between companies wanting to hire the most talented people, and the experience the most talented people I know have during the interview process. A short thread ๐Ÿงต

Annual planning is a great reminder of how much time companies spend planning the โ€œwhatโ€ and how little time is spent on the โ€œhowโ€. Little time is focused on innovating in operational efficiency although for many, thatโ€™s likely where a ton of meaningful outcome can be found.

I DO LOVE MY CREDIT UNION!! Why give your money to for-profit banks who spend your money on big oil when you get the exact same service at a not-for-profit (why they donโ€™t have big glossy ads everywhere) CREDIT UNION!! #ILoveMyCreditUnion

#UX reminder: Users form first impressions of web experiences in 50ms of exposure. Faster than the blink of an eye, literally. And user assessment is largely driven by the visual complexity and prototypicality (i.e. familiarity) of the screen. Simple & familiar gets you far!

100% spot on. We did this as a design team at a previous job and it was so valuable. Had we looped in PM and dev too, it would have been transformative for morale, turnover, product quality, and work-life balance.
