I can’t believe $100k worth of people would think pay for this. Your height becomes permanent after 21. So either it’s a bunch of little kids with their parents credit cards, or adults with 0 common sense.

Is this onboarding good enough?. For context, I have the main onboarding that leads to the user creating an account. These popups are meant to give some guidance into what to do next.

Fixed a lot of bugs today. Definitely in a flow state right now. Going to run through the app one more time. Make sure everything is set, then send the Testflight invites. While you all test the app, I'll work on getting it Appstore ready 🔥. It's finally happening!.

Working on adding onboarding/guideing hints for once the user starts using my app. While it is pretty easy to understand, functionality, there are a few things that aren't clear (like clicking on the habit to see it's analytics). This system will also be useful later on.

Taking the day off yesterday made me realize how much I enjoy working on my app. Having something to create gives me purpose. When I am stripped of that, even by choice, I feel incomplete. I’m very grateful to have something to dedicate myself to.

Just realized that Planet Fitness registered their app with all let’s surrounding “i” after Fitness. That way people can still search the app incase they “fat finger” the wrong button

Sometimes it just helps to talk to myself on here and spit my thoughts. I hope that this thread can be to anyone else struggling with their business. You aren’t invaluable just because you struggle. It’s how you respond and what you do about it that matters.

I believe I will “make it”, because I have engraved this world view into my mind:. If I’m not unique and not as successful as everyone, then I’ll just never stop until I am. I’ll just keep making apps, market, and solve problems. I know that I’ll break through eventually.

That’s why I’m not going give up on this app. I’ve never experienced more personal and mental growth in my life. Having to push through doubt, frustration, the worry of it not paying off. All of this has been an extremely difficult but also transformative.

Ultimately, this has been my most challenging business experience yet. I’ve tired Youtube and Tiktok, even X at one point in the past. All of it was easy. I see why only so many people “make it”. It takes dedication. Being willing to push through when things don’t work.

Ultimately, it’s felt like such a long process. I’ve wanted to give up on the app numerous times. “It’s not going to be profitable anyway, there is too much competition”. “There aren’t any outstanding features”. “It’s issue after issue, at this rate it’ll be another year”.

It’s not even a complicated app. It’s a habit tracker. In no way should it have took ~8 months to get here. The features are as simple as they get too:. 1. Tracking.2. Analytics.3. Streaks. 8 months.

At this point I’m just going to launch the app with bugs. It feels like I’m going in a circle. I try to fix something, then new issue comes up, I fix that, then new issue. While all this is happening, I keep thinking, “there’s no way it should be this complicated”.

Do you think having a blue checkmark is essential for growth on X?. I have 30 mins to decide if I want to get in on the deal. I've been planning to wait until 1k+ followers and better engagement, but maybe I just have to pay to win. What are your thoughts?.

📘Day 410. Done with the app at this point. My todo list is basically getting it ready for the app store. This should be fairly quick if I lock in tmrw.
