UK-Israeli Sharone Lifschitz fought for her dad Oded’s return. He was a peace campaigner, taking Palestinians to hospital. Yesterday her mum ex hostage Yocheved said “Oded was a great fighter for peace. He had very good relations with Palestinians. It hurts they betrayed him”.

Oded Lifschitz’s body has been identified. His family said “503 agonizing days of uncertainty have come to an end. We had hoped & prayed so much for a different outcome. Now we can mourn the husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather who has been missing from us since Oct 7.

Pleased to say man who made obscene call to me got nearly 6 months in jail. Turns out he’d been jailed in 2015 for similar offences & had sexual assault conviction. Police must have known when they tried to drop case. Original story

Latest picture of Emily Damari and her mum this morning. Emily in a post says “I’ve returned to my beloved life.” Her mum in a statement says “Emily is doing much better than any of us could ever have anticipated” & the world got a glimpse of her feisty & charismatic personality.

Steve Brisley from Wales is hoping his brother in law Eli Sharabi will be freed. “Blimey. I’ve thought so hard about how I would feel, now it’s happening I don’t know what to feel. I’m not sure I can give myself permission to believe yet…the weeks to wait are a bloody long time”.
