People tend to focus on the "D" and "A" parts of DAO, and neglect the "O". Notwithstanding all technological innovations, at the end of the day, it's still a bunch of people trying to achieve something. Thus, most managerial knowledge remains perfectly applicable.

Assuming "AGI" will be so great as to improve upon itself in an infinite loop and thereby solving all of humanity's intellectual problems is also a non-trivial assumption.

Which is why I'm very skeptical of "completely" autonomous and grandiose things built on top of blockchains. Everything runs on property and people that exist IRL, and thus dependent on traditional institutions' will to defend it. People too easily forget that. 2/2

Private property is a useless concept in the absence of coercive mechanisms that enforce it. Even precious cryptographic private keys are useless if you can't prevent others from torturing you to reveal them. Thus, blockchain is really an extension of IRL institutions. 1/2
