FAU Observatory Manager and Instructor, Eric Vandernoot, captured the NEOWISE comet through our Observatory telescope at an eight-second exposure at 6:50 am on July 12. Have you spotted #NEOWISE in the night sky? You can still view the comet through early August.

High school students (and parents): You may be challenged in these courses, but you will have a leg up on your peers once you get to college. I estimate that having taken these HS classes will boost you at least one letter grade in college.
It's high school course signup season. Make sure your child or student signs up for chemistry and physics. Too few of her or his high school peers are doing so.
