Officer on scene confirmed with me at least one person has been taken to the hospital. Did not say the extent of their injuries. For how/when/why all this came to be... we’re told to wait on a supervisor.

A second vehicle with major damage and air bags deployed. Investigators still surveying the scene. #NBC15

A serious incident at the Capitol Petro on Mineral Point Rd and Grand Canyon Ave. 25+ MPD squad cars responding and a large vehicle flipped on its side. #NBC15

Crews have begun loading the motorcycle onto a tow truck as people collect items from the rider, scattered on the sidewalk. Whitney Way is still not open North bound. #NBC15

A neighbor walking his dog says he witness 3 motorcycles racing on Whitney Way and one of the cyclist lost control, skid across the road with flames visible, came to a stop in a lawn, and the bike ended up 2 houses down. Estimates speeds of 80 MPH. #NBC15

Whitney Way vlocked off at Marathon Dr. for a possible PNB. North bound traffic being turned around. #NBC15

Several law enforcement vehicles now leaving the scene including a Fitch-Rona ambulance with possible police escort vehicles leading and following. #NBC15

Loud shouting followed by loud bangs, possible several shots and an explosive device leaving behind a white air cloud. #NBC15

Still out on McKee Rd. in Fitchburg and more EMS vehicles have shown up on scene. Officials are also using a megaphone, requesting an individual to pick up the phone and talk to them again. #NBC15

Fitchburg PD also confirmed the man has several weapons on him including a baseball bat and several knives and FPD was able to get a phone to him to keep in constant contact. #NBC15

Update from Fitchburg PD, They received a call of a man possibly under the influence. Officers have been in constant contact with the individual and continue to keep their distance as the individual had agreed to stay in the parking lot. #NBC15

In the North East end of the parking lot of the New Vision Theater, a shirtless white male is pacing back and forth while talking on a phone and smoking. #NBC15

There now appears to be a shirtless man in the parking lot, possibly something in his hands and possibly on a phone call as officers keep their distance. #NBC15
