First afternoon of rehearsals for Hansel & Gretel with @WaterperryOpera - so good to be back creating, the team are sounding brilliant. Nice to hand over this precious cargo to his Mum as she finished her rehearsals for the day and I began mine. Well. Oiled. Machine (so far)🧙♀️

Had my first “gig” last Sat since the Pandemic.I sang for this lovely couple’s 50th wedding anniversary. 50 years, wow,great knock. It was a joy to sing live again despite the rain meaning I had to give my best Gene Kelly/ Steve McClaren for the final song #undermyumbrella.
