And this has been a constant theme for years. The coach brought in is either stubborn, can’t speak the language or not a good cultural fit. Gino never appoints someone who fits the players. It’s entirely plausible we keep looking disorganised because the coach isn’t good enough

I think Gino is a moron no doubt but I do believe he’s assembled a strong squad that should be doing much better than we are. The eye test tells me we create far more than the opponent, the data tells me that too. We have a good set of players not being utilised correctly

To piggyback off this — under any normal ownership I 1000% agree a coach must be given time. But under Gino there’s no point in being rational in your thinking. No manager will get time so until the owner changes we may as well keep going through managers until we find a good one
Javi has to go for me. Team selection as bad as you’re likely to see, subs even worse. 4-4-2 is nonsense of the highest order. Would rather stick to only what he knows rather than empower the players (who aren’t blame free) — give a fuck we got a point

I’ve seen quite a few say “On another night we’d have won that game 3-1”. I do know what you’re saying, there are game changing moments that just haven’t gone our way. But pull back a bit and look at the performances as a collective. The trend hasn’t been good. We’re not seeing

1) 1.45ppg is genuinely appalling with the fixtures we’ve had in the weakest championship of all time 2) Structure of the team is all wrong as is the team selection + subs 3) if you keep getting fostered by bad parents — you keep leaving until you find good ones
Some Watford fans are absolutely unhinged aren’t they? 11 games for Gracia with 1.45PPG and already demanding for a 2nd sacking. It’s a shame as I quite like some of this fellas content but why is the answer to always sack managers? Boring rhetoric. 🤦🏼♂️

I hope people are starting to realise how much better Selvik is than Baxter. The latter is an alright deputy but absolutely not starter level

I won’t say in or out but do you have faith in Javi to get the best out of this squad?

Oh no

We missed chances tonight but the chances we had were all rushed, it was chaos which suited Sheffield Wednesday. When your default setting is to spam crosses and not work an opening, it’s the sign of an under coached team.

That felt like a Cleverley game today. No real tactics, just hoping for a bit of individual brilliance. Very poor. #watfordfc

This is utterly dreadful. No structure, no tempo, just a cross and a dream.

Would love a manager that platforms his players rather than sticking to his own flawed ideology

No, he’s a genius for leaving. They wouldn’t have got in the playoffs under him. They were rapidly falling down that table which went inline with their underlying numbers having them around 12th
