All schools in Metro Winnipeg, including the Louis Riel School Division, will be closed on April 13 and 14 due to anticipated adverse weather and road conditions forecasted by Environment Canada. This includes in-school childcare centres.
The Anishinaabe digital world includes flora, fauna and locations from Manitoba that were specially created for this world. All non-player characters are modelled after members of LRSD’s Indigenous Council of Grandmothers and Grandfathers, LRSD educators and Knowledge Keepers.

Last night, the LRSD Board of Trustees passed a motion to strongly recommend the wearing of masks in all divisional facilities, including buses. This response is based on the increased absence rates we are seeing in schools due to illness. Learn more:
