The project also promoted sustainable agricultural practices by establishing a model field at the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (LARI) to equip farmers, students, and engineers with the tools necessary to handle the ecological challenges posed by climate change.

The ninth building underwent complete rehabilitation- removing damaged tiles, clearing debris, casting new ceiling and floor, installing a suspended ceiling with wooden beams, & restoring the structure by reinforcing its walls with natural stone to ensure its sustainability. 4/5.
