The Metro Nashville Police Department mustered every bit of courage they could to save as many lives as possible yesterday. Our gratitude alone will never be enough but it’s a damn good place to start.

All of my love is going to the people of Nashville after news of a shooting at an ELEMENTARY school. It's especially sickening after watching the legislators there put so much energy into banning drag shows instead of implementing measures that would actually protect kids.

It feels horrible slow and ineffectual, but this thread- this thread- damn. Lays it all out. It may seem that Justice is moving at glacial speed, but it’s moving and clearing everything in its path. I have to believe that.
I just blocked a woman I’ve known for several years, talked with on the phone and on Zoom calls, because she starts talking about “Garland isn’t doing anything and no one is ever going to be held accountable,” and will go on tweet after tweet arguing. Another person chimed
