You make great points Ryan. I’m saying she was not the first to make the FT. The money and percentages come with today’s fields. I don’t diminish her accomplishments. I think the media jumped on the word historical too hard.

The money is great but not the point. All that money records in poker are bloated.
@lonmceachern @WSOP It’s not bullshit Lon. The history is it’s the most money a woman has ever cashed for in the Main Event, by quite a bit. No one is tearing down Barbara, and it’s ok to celebrate this historical achievement.

- Second woman in history (and first in 30 years) to make the Main Event final table. - Single largest payout ever won by a woman in the WSOP Main Event. - #1 Spanish female in career WSOP earnings. - Perhaps the worst take of the summer, and that’s saying something ⤵️.

Unpopular opinion disguised as fact: As great a run as it was, Leo Margets did not make any @WSOP history. Media folks really WANT to announce something historical and will “massage” the storyline to meet their desires. Thus we wind up with, “…in the modern era.” It’s bullshit.

Without being on the floor 100% of the time it’s impossible to know all that went on with Will- BUT, as annoying as any player could be-much of it legal under the rules-what’s your opinion on how he was handled?.

Great response to the Kassouf matter from all of you. Thanks. Re livestream: Normally it’s starts with a longer delay which can be reduced to cut down on breaks viewers will see. Do you prefer that- with a longer dinner break- or a shorter delay overall?.

Kassouf is certainly polarizing. Even after a night of sleep, poker fans are still chiming in. Personally, I hope it does not translate to more TV time- he’ll get his share. I think the real damage he does is the delay he causes. The TV edit will not show ALL of his verbal drivel.
