We're remembering the grand 305 Queens Ave building, our Central Library from 1940 to 2002. It opened Oct 4, 1940 with an art gallery, auditorium & children's library. And in 1942 we started lending 16mm films & sound recordings!. Celebrating 125 years as your library, #LdnOnt!

In #ldnont, your library partners with @CMHAMiddlesex to provide Welcome Centre services, staffed by social workers, in the library. This incredible service supports all members of our community and our staff.
.@torontolibrary have seen a steady increase in the number of homeless people using their facilities. Instead of kicking them out, they're responding by hiring their first full-time social worker to deal with the homeless.
