I realised I have no calls today so I just changed into this shirt to celebrate.
I was having random drops on video calls. Turns out the mesh on the back of my chair was building up static, but only with a specific t-shirt of mine, discharging through the laptop chassis and causing such a rapid USB bus reset that the camera returned with a new USB identifier.
