I'm thrilled to announce that I recently participated in a thought-provoking workshop on freedom of religion and beliefs in Nigeria. The event provided an insightful platform for dialogue and understanding, emphasizing the importance of respecting diverse religious perspectives.

Whenever there is Trauma, healing is possible. Talk to someone you trust about your trauma condition and pray to God for total healing (Psalm 34:18).

Often, Trauma sends shockwaves through entire families and communities. And because suffering is part of human experience, we are all vulnerable to Trauma. But God is with everyone who suffers. God feels our pain with us and God wants to help us heal, that is why we have hope.

Trauma is a wound of the heart and mind that causes deep suffering, it leaves us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected, and it takes a very long time to heal. It hurts every part of our relationships, our bodies, our thoughts and even our faith in God.

What do you think of when you hear the word Trauma?.You might think of terrible events like violence, abuse, or disaster. When we hear the word Trauma, we often think about the CAUSE. But Trauma is actually the EFFECT of events like these.

The rate of drugs and substance abuse amongst the youths is very high and alarming. Many youths are going insane, the government agencies responsible need to step up their game to curb this menace before it consumes us.

So today I was inducted into the Trauma Healing institute as an Apprentice Facilitator. The long awaited journey to becoming a trauma counselor has commenced.
