ICLSG is working to share knowledge across the world on how DNOs can work with local communities to develop local smart solutions to accelerate our transition to net zero & reduce our reliance on fossil fuels - increasing network resilience, reducing the need for blackouts.
National Grid has said that power plants in certain parts of the country may not be able to source enough gas to operate at full power during the winter months, leading to three-hour planned blackouts in some areas of the country. The blackouts would be the first since the 1970s.
