Consensus algorithms for distributed databases are either wildly under-cooked or massively over-complicated. Cluster-wide Raft groups shouldn’t ever wait for the slowest node and should ALWAYS prioritize the performance of each node in the cluster. ePaxos isn’t needed if you.
