Interesting discussion last week at a roundtable event where we discussed amongst others an important factor about AI-generated code: trust. We are very content to import a package from npm, but reluctant to trust an AI tool to generate code for us.

I've been asked lately whether #AI will replace software engineers — and I don't think that’s the case. #AI can generate code, but software engineering is about so much more: architecture, uptime, scalability …
