I am building LivingDevOps, a real-world DevOps education platform. 👉 Here's why. In the last year, I've spoken to 200+ DevOps aspirants and they all have the same complaint. They took expensive courses from big training companies, learned all the tools, but couldn't clear.

Kubernetes 1.34 drops August 27th and it’s packed with game-changing features. After going through the release notes, here are the two updates that will impact most DevOps teams immediately:. 1. KYAML for kubectl. kubectl get -o kyaml now gives you cleaner, more predictable YAML

Why 90% of “DevOps Engineers” Can’t Debug a Simple Server Issue. Every week I see someone with “3 years DevOps experience” who can deploy to Kubernetes but freezes when asked to troubleshoot why a server is running slow. They know every Terraform module by heart but can’t.

AI is coming for your DevOps job in 2025. Because if you’re doing these things, you deserve to be replaced:. → Copy-pasting Terraform code from GitHub repos without understanding it.→ Deploying simple apps to single Kubernetes clusters and calling yourself “cloud native”.→.

you can now protect your EKS clusters from accidental deletion!. Just switch it on, and any accidental delete operation will be blocked until you purposefully turn off protection. Command -.aws eks update-cluster-config --name "eks-cluster-name" --region "eks-region".

Kode Kloud courses were valuable to get devops job in 2020. Now the market expect way more than basics, they want real world experience( at least the ability to understand real-world scenarios). There is a obvious gap in Devops education, hopefully someone will fill that gap.

DevOps Engineer Interview at Airbnb . Round 1 – Infra Resilience, K8s, Cloud & Observability.• Airbnb wants feature flags that change infra behavior mid-flight. What’s your design with zero restarts?.• You’re forced to use unmanaged node pools on GKE for cost. What guardrails.

If someone promises you can become a DevOps engineer in 30 days, run. Let’s be realistic here. Let’s say you spend 6-8 hours daily for 30 days (hypothetically). You watch YouTube videos on everything - Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, etc and fo “hello world”.
