Team building at RIA’s Summer Academy is the best!! The students loved building pool noodle roller coasters! @Jenna_Socash and I were so impressed with the results! Huge shoutout to @mrs_meyer4th for the idea!!

Half days are for stem! They designed and created prototypes that could help you with something in your life. My favorite prototype was a tool for fishing that can be controlled by an app on your phone. #stem @RCSDNYS @RCSDHBM

I’m so proud of this confident, young lady! She won 1st place among the 4th graders in the @RCSDNYS Storytelling Festival! Hats off to @rcsdhbm50reads for the time she gives our students! Well done, Amirah! You make @RCSDHBM and your family proud!

They’ve learned about racist policies that kept black Americans from buying homes in Rochester as well as the segregation in schools. They used their voice by creating posters that could be used to protest these policies. I’m so proud of their open hearts in these conversations.
