Bit of a different type of paint work for this week. Some lacquer peel on my car from a previous repair from a previous owner had started to flake off and left bare paint. My first time attempting to wet sand and paint car panels but it went ok. #detailing #spraypaint

With the 20th anniversary this year and rumblings with #Constantine 2 ongoing I watched it again yesturday and its still an ace movie. With a close up view like this you can see the writing and detail on the barrel. The files are available to download on @Cults3D #3dprint

I've done the main sanding down of the filler of the #JudgeDredd helmet and now I'm building the layers of filler primer to fine sand. I'm not going to enjoy getting the masking right for the red outline detail on the helmet and making it inline with the cut outs. #3dprint

Obviously by the way I sprayed this I didnt plan to make a video. Just sprayed this 30 seconds ago and I've never seen this visual affect with fresh paint before. This is just standard black gloss sutomotive paint, more than likely its something to do with the solvents. #diy

Well thats great, after all that time filling and sanding you obviously cannot use the generic Rustoleum Lacquer with their generic spray paint. It says its meant for already painted surfaces and the surfaces were clean and already dry for a day or so. BALLS!!!

I've now stuffed a load of LED's in the #AssassinsCreed Apple of Eden. I didnt expect the light to shine through the body and you can see the fill. I need to print out the clear filler pieces so make the appearance more spherical and it should defuse the light a bit more.

You cannot have perfection every time, trying to print something tall and top heavy and was a bit overconfident. Still had 30% to go so it was lucky I saw it in time.
