yes i will always be extremely critical of apex's monetization and i will complain about it because it's objectively predatory and has obfuscated mechanics. and yes every live service game has expensive cosmetics but not all of them incentivize gambling for every single event

yeah 👎 why bother crafting any amped packs when you have an 85% chance to get a craftable 400 mat epic from the default cosmetic pool, all for the low low cost of 1650 materials. i love gambling!!!!!!!!!!

they added 36 epic item slots to the event via a unique pack but it pulls from the "regular apex pool"... (there are 0 epic event items) so like if you roll an epic from an event pack its just. like a default craftable epic or something ?? what
