at a volunteering event yesterday and someone brought their daughter, who looked just like one of my best friends when she was her age. my heart broke open completely. it was so beautiful to think that i could see my friend reflected in someone else, ten years later.

always thinking about when i was 12 on a school trip in rural malaysia and we went to a restaurant where they served us small mandarins for dessert. my friend peeled them for me. it was the first time i ever liked them so much <3.
