Hard to judge when we have had 10 men for so long. But I think we were far too happy to sit in. There was no attempt of anything positive whatsoever until we were losing. Which is too late. The ref was fully on our side and we still couldn’t get a win. 🤣

That half was bitty and scrappy. Luiz needs to focus on substance rather than style, Sancho needs to be more positive and just do more in general. The whole team needs to pick up the pace and raise the intensity. We’re the better team but need to step up and show it. #avfc

That’s a good half. Buendia’s goal was a brilliant move and finish. Him and Rogers causing real problems. Ollie’s runs have been great but end product from him poor again. Martinez with some great saves. Need that 2nd goal they will be coming on strong… #avfc

Selling Malen and bringing Abraham in and Bailey back and is a massive backwards move. Is this really the state the clubs in right now? Where is the forward planning? We spunked all our wage budget on players like Sancho and he’s been utterly useless. #avfc

Abraham and Gallagher don’t really fill me with excitement. Whilst they improve the squad they don’t improve the 1st team. Gallagher would be our 5th best CM and everyone has a hard on for Tammy because he scored goals for us 8 years ago… Bit short sighted for me. #avfc

Great result today. First half performance was as good as I’ve seen us. Showed grit in the second half. Watkins wasn’t even bothered by Paulinho but I loved how Rogers had his back. Can see the team are not just full of confidence but also all grafting together. #avfc

With Youri, Onana, Kamara and Mcginn (plus Bogarde and Barkley as back up) I’m really surprised that we are (supposedly) looking at Gallagher. With the financial restrictions we are under, I would have thought CF and a proper winger would have been the priority. #avfc

Decent performance and decent result. Tricky place to pick up points and to be fair it’s just nice to not lose to Palace. 🤣
