And "boom" goes the dynamite. The passenger manifests for those flights would make for interesting reading.

Clickbait has become ‘self-perpetuating cycle’ drowning out genuine news: "The effectiveness of clickbait-style posts is also affecting the kind of stories news sites and newspapers write – more simplistic, emotive news is the order of the day"

Hi @guardian. To be clear - the BBC is not "the state broadcaster." It is one of the UK's several "public service" broadcasters. An important distinction.

It's 2029, and the PM is lending his tacit support to a Private Members Bill that would criminalise the recital of The Rosary outside the local branch of Dignitas.
Parking the moral obscenity of what MPs have done, here’s the practical politics: The measure will be introduced in four years time - dovetailing with the next general election. By then, dozens of Catholic-run hospices and care homes will be closing. https://t.co/dCRMBTwG18

Boldness & ambition ( well, basic maintenance) is desperately needed in our vaunted "cultural quarter." Austerity, other priorities - we get that. But this degradation of a key civic space is depressing. The sheer can't-be-arsedness of it.

Lovely, yes, but wildly over-spec for such a small town and a direct product of Victor Orban's use of football as a propaganda tool. https://t.co/oG72iZTbrK

In 1974, with Keith Botsford, Glanville produced what I would say is the greatest piece of football journalism ever - the exposure of a decade of corruption involving referees by Italian clubs in Europe, incredible
Brian Glanville RIP. The King of Football Writers. As the recently departed Patrick Barclay wrote, 'Most football writers fall into two categories: those who have been influenced by Glanville, and those who should have been.' Simply the best.

The "4,5,6 hours a fortnight" argument is disingenuous. If - and it's a big if - the stadium IS going to prompt the wider regeneration of that area( as our civic leaders keep telling us it will) then new infrastructure is an absolute must. If we don't build it, people won't come.
Imagine this in Manchester, the council would begging to pay for a station, if it helped facilitate a new stadium/Arena
