#1 ā Your GPA matters. (It doesnāt.) There are so many people with perfect GPAs still roaming the streets, and people with under 3.0s working in big tech. Prioritize practical skills, likability (your personality), and effective communication over chasing a perfect GPA. Those

My app crashed 5 times in production because one of my features wasnāt compatible with lower-end devices. But guess what, I wouldnāt have known if I never published it. Stop waiting for a āperfectā product to ship, nothing like that exists.

Not gonna lie, this might be OpenAIās first miss. Googleās AI summaries when you type something on google already answer everything before you scroll. Itās either I google it or I ask ChatGPT in the app. who asked for an AI browser?

Imagine having to go through five rounds of LeetCode/technical interviews just to get an internshipāitās absurd!

The truth is, most of these new grads are incredibly skilled; theyāve worked on amazing projects. However, the reason they arenāt getting these jobs is because companies have raised the bar so high that itās nearly impossible for a new grad to reach.

To get an internship, you have to go through countless rounds of LeetCode assessments and technical interviews just to land a $30/hr internship. CS grads are out here with thousands of dollars in student debt and no jobs.

I honestly donāt blame people who are dropping out of CS majors. Nobody wants to study CS anymore because, when calculating the stress-to-reward ratio, you could argue it isnāt worth it. The process of becoming a successful CS major is exhausting. Thread š§µ
